A great opportunity has arisen with one of our key premium spirits clients for an ambitious individual to join them over a busy period of growth on a fixed term contract of 9 months.
As Brand Assistant you will focus on one of their key spirits brands and will be based in their Head Office in Edinburgh.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will have responsibility for providing detailed customer plans and will play a crucial part in supporting the delivery of trade education as well as sales programmes with a view of supporting the brand volume targets. You will work on development and implementation of brand strategy including all elements of marketing mix; communication, events, PR, digital and packaging as well as internal and external stakeholders’ relationship management.
We are looking for a tenacious, hard-working self-starter with about a year’s experience of working within a brand focused role ideally within the drinks sector. You will take a lead role in managing the company’s presence at a number of drinks exhibitions and events so will be comfortable in a customer facing role. You will also update and maintain key brand content within the company’s website (familiarity with Drupal CMS would be advantageous) and have strong social media skills and be comfortable working across different channels within the digital landscape. Ability to develop and manage brand assets e.g. photography or POS materials will be equally important while ability to learn and share your knowledge will be crucial since you will not only represent the brand but also be able to educate and influence key audiences. Top this up with a natural knack for building successful working relationships - the role will see you working with external agencies as well as internal and external stakeholders - and you are our ideal candidate.
