A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, creative and commercially astute Brand Manager to join a leading drinks business. Denholm’s client have recently added to their portfolio of existing products and this position will, in conjunction with the Group Brand Controller, be working on managing both established and new brands for the company. The successful candidate will be able to bring a fun, energetic and innovative flair to the brands and position them correctly in the marketplace to capture the target customer/consumer whilst also driving these brands further into both the UK and wider European markets.
As Brand Manager, you will be instrumental in the development of ground-breaking marketing programmes as well as the annual brand plans which will satisfy multiple channel strategies including Distributor, HoReCa and Grocery. You will be getting stuck into a lot of market and competitor research to capitalise on current and future trends in order to understand the best approach to grow the brands’ market and customer base.
This is a highly commercial brand role and so you must be comfortable working with numbers and be well-versed in managing the P&L for the brands as well as take ownership for the commerciality of the campaigns. The role requires you to work closely with Directors of the company as well as external stakeholders on decision-making for short and long-term brand plans and strategy. In short you will hold a lot of responsibility and control over what is done!
To thrive in this role you will be very commercial in your marketing approach and be an innovative thinker with unique ideas to help promote the brands and drive sales. In order to be considered for this position, we are ideally looking for strong brand marketers with experience of working in the drinks industry but will also consider candidates who have wider FMCG experience if you have the skill-set and attitude to make our client’s brands truly shine.
