We are working with a successful, profitable, established agency with one of the best reputations in the business for creativity and impactful campaigns. The brand has stood the test of time and is respected and admired by clients, as well as other agencies. But they're not ones to rest on their laurels and, with some brave and audacious growth targets for the next financial year and beyond, are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join the team in their London office. This is a brand new role for the business as they look to achieve that growth in revenue that they're after. Our client has a strong and bespoke strategy for how this can be achieved and they need the right person to work with them to make their vision a reality.
The successful candidate will work very closely on a daily basis with the four directors so will need to be comfortable and relaxed operating at that level. You will also work with the General Managers of the agency's regional offices to help them in achieving specific business development outreach.
You will be comfortable liaising with prospective clients at all levels, be it face-to-face, over the phone, or via email or social media. You will be a great communicator with a penchant for sales. It will help if the candidate has worked in PR and gets how the business works and understands what clients are looking for in an agency. it would be even more appealing if the person has had direct input into new business pitches and presentations too. Having said that, we're pretty open to a lack of specific experience if the candidate is strong enough.
