Denholm’s client, a distinguished premium drinks company with an acclaimed portfolio of brands, is seeking a Category Analyst for an exciting position within their commercial marketing team. Reporting into the UK Customer Marketing Director and working in close conjunction with the Brand, Marketing and Commercial teams, you will be responsible for delivering high quality insights and data analysis to support the successful implementation of category management initiatives to support brand performance across both the on and off trade channels.
An ability to forge strong relationships, both internally and externally is of paramount importance. Not only will you work collaboratively with Account Managers to support business goals, you will also provide a level of input into customer range review processes, space/range opportunities and any customer specific category and shopper projects. You will have experience of presenting insights and recommendations to influence customers, utilising data analysis through intelligence tools such as CGA and MCA.
With an inherent interest in channel activities, you will naturally identify promotional trends within the marketplace, investigating the commercial impact that these activities will have across all category platforms. The translation of this data will be used to drive actionable category and shoppers insights, heightening the businesses channel, category and shopper leadership.
This exciting and fast-paced role will suit a highly motivated and analytically-minded individual who has previous category experience. The ability to record and manipulate data from MCA and CGA will be highly advantageous.
