Denholm is working with one of Scotland's best known branded FMCG businesses with huge ambition to further develop across their key product categories through exciting innovation and new product development. We are working in partnership to find a talented Category & Shopper Development Manager to join the team in this exciting time of accelerated growth on a 6-months fixed term contract.
As the Category & Shopper Development Manager you will manage and implement the development plans, working across all categories with a view of helping both Marketing and Sales Teams develop brands and customer relationships. You will help the development of a deep understanding of the shopper across the business and you will play a key role in supporting the development of category strategies, initiatives and innovations. By working closely with the Marketing and Sales Teams you will also contribute to the development of Category and Brand Plans. To put it in a nutshell you will enable the business to punch above their weight with both trade and shoppers while creating insights from all available data sources.
You will need to bring excellent analytical skills that will build actionable insights and create compelling selling stories for customers to enable growth. Experience of working with key data sources e.g. Kantar, IRI, Nielsen, Dunnhumby or Aimia will be crucial as will be good working knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
