Denholm has partnered with a recognised not-for-profit organisation working closely with the Scottish Government on a variety of exciting projects. We are working together to recruit an experienced Communications Manager to join their growing team for an initial 3-months fixed term contract.
As the Communications Manager you will play an active role in the management of the Communications Department while developing and implementing the Communications Strategy. Your in-depth knowledge of the media landscape and ability to draw on your expertise while developing innovative media strategies is key, as you will be involved in a number of various projects while delivering a multi-disciplinary communications, covering both traditional and social media and any other digital communications including internal comms, design and event management.
If you are proficient in juggling between your strong communications and editorial skills while managing and setting a clear direction for the teams you’re in charge of, if you can inspire and encourage your colleagues to define and deliver both objectives and evaluation of these, you might be our ideal candidate. Your ability to manage budgets as well as sound understanding of the importance of communications in the delivery of agreed targets combined with the ability to prioritise and focus on both impact and delivery will be crucial. Top this up with a flexible, proactive attitude, resilience and self-motivation and you might be just the person we are looking for!
