Denholm is delighted to be working in partnership with Mary's Meals International on what will be a key role as the organisation continues to grow rapidly.
We are excited to play a part in helping them to achieve their vision to ensure every child receives one daily meal in their place of education. With the charity now operating across the world and delivering over 1.2 million meals every day, they are adding key strategic roles including this key position of Director of Communications to their senior team.
Central to the role will be a strong understanding and management of the Mary's Meals Brand and how that is positioned and communicated across all geographies. You will be the strategic lead for the brand area and will be part of the senior leadership team, reporting to the COO. You will take their powerful brand message and, through your team, lead the global communications strategy across all channels, to raise awareness globally to inform and inspire all those involved in their mission, through a distinctive tone of voice. This will include understanding and maximising what the charity does across all digital channels including their website, social media and email. Also, you will look to develop further the opportunities for rich storytelling through the fantastic work their volunteers and affiliates do globally. Other key areas of responsibility will include a proactive and commercial drive within new products (e.g. Sponsor a School) and how to maximise their value in fundraising through generating awareness as well as managing all internal communications for the organisation.
