Due to continued growth, they’re on the look-out for an experienced Group Account Director to join the team in Edinburgh where you will have the opportunity to work with clients who have big budgets to spend on exciting content, digital and editorial projects. With an extremely client focussed approach, their emphasis is clear in two areas: establishing, measuring and achieving their client's KPIs and building close and long-standing relationships with their clients.
You will be overseeing a team of 5 account handlers making sure that the team continues to enjoy great career progression, their clients are profitable and revenues continue to grow. You will be responsible for client relationships, delivering excellent account handling throughout the team, understanding each client's business in depth, establishing strong partnerships and developing, measuring and delivering KPIs for all activity. The successful candidate must have commercial awareness and will have experience of managing P&L and large budgets.
As Group Account Director, it’s likely you will have worked in an agency environment before and will have experience of pitching, spotting new revenue opportunities, mentoring and developing a team, leaderships with both clients and internal teams, outstanding communication skills and presentation skills. As the agency are specialists in creating and delivering content, a background in editorial, journalism or content would be ideal but a passion and understanding for communications is vital.
