We are looking for a Part-Time Finance Assistant to cover 10-month maternity leave starting January 2018. Based in Leith, this is a great opportunity to work in a varied and interesting position reporting into the Finance Director.
The responsibilities of the Part-Time Finance Assistant include but are not restricted to:
- Accounts Payable
- Sales Ledger and Credit Control
- Processing Expenses
- Weekly payroll for temporary workers, including quarterly submission to HMRC for contractors
- HR Admin
- Revenue reconciliations
- Various ad hoc projects
Skills and experience required:
- Excel, Word, Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll, Bookkeeping
- Good communications skills, attention to detail, ability to use own initiative and good time keeping skills
You will be an experienced Finance Assistant with at least 2 years finance experience within a team orientated environment, with an eye for detail, and the ability to work alone. A dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible applicant who has the ability to withstand pressure in an environment where priorities often change very quickly is needed.
