Denholm is working exclusively with an independent international spirits business with an exciting portfolio of premium brands and world-class manufacturing capabilities to hire a home-based Business Unit Director On-trade Retail.
With unrivalled heritage and expertise dating back to the Eightieth Century, our client now includes spirits business operations in UK, Ireland and France.
High-performing brands include the UK’s number 2 selling gin and the world’s fastest growing leading standard category gin, the world’s fastest growing premium gin and number 7 globally by volume (which was recently voted the world’s best tasting gin), the world’s 9th largest Super Premium Gin by volume and a multi award winning Irish cream liqueur. They are also expanding within the fast-growing Irish whiskey category.
They now require a home-based On-trade Business Unit Director.
Reporting to the MD, the On-trade Business Unit Director is responsible for developing and optimising channel strategy, growth, profitability and brand visibility. You will lead, develop and grow the On-trade Retail Channel team to achieve targets and objectives.
To be considered, you will have a strong track record of leading and developing a high performance On-trade sales team. You will have outstanding branded FMCG sales management credentials; evidence of major contract negotiation at board level, planning & forecasting and strong people management skills.
