Our client, a high profile drinks company with a portfolio which includes some of the world's most recognisable premium and prestige spirits brands, has successfully built a market-leading industry reputation through its use of state-of-the-art innovation, cutting edge product development and outstanding account management.
We are currently working with them to recruit Regional Field Sales Controllers to be based in Central Scotland, M62 corridor, Midlands and Bristol.
The Regional Field Sales Controller is a strategic commercial leader for a multi-discipled regional Route to Market, Free Trade and Regional Multiple operator sales team. The RFSC, reporting to the Sales Director, will have overall responsibility for 8-10 National Account Managers, Business Development Managers and Business Development Executives within their region.
Key responsibility includes the development and implantation of a long term strategy; creating a market-beating value-adding programme of success. The RFSC will lead, inspire and develop a high-performing peerless team of field based sales professionals.
To be considered for this rare opportunity, you will have a broad and deep understanding of the UK drinks (or similar FMCG) industry. You will have significant evidence of highly developed people management skills – particularly coaching and performance management. Strong analytical skills and outstanding commercial awareness are naturally, a prerequisite.
