Our client, a high-profile spirits company with a world class portfolio of instantly recognisable premium and prestige brands, has successfully built a market-leading reputation through cutting-edge innovation and outstanding account management. 

We are currently working exclusively in partnership with them to recruit two National Account Managers to join their commercial team in the Route to Market Wholesale and Cash & Carry channel. The National Account Managers will be instrumental in supporting the development and growth of these accounts.

You will have the ability to negotiate at all levels, build relationships through a strategic approach, see through margin/profit versus company and sector budget while creating and implementing profitable strategies to deliver individual and team targets.

Using your advanced commercial skills, you will analyse key sales, grow volume and distribution and ensure account compliance. You will assume ownership of promotional implementation, calendar management and identifying business growth opportunities.  In addition, you will also put your first class communication and interpersonal skills to good use by building good working relationships across a broad range of functions such as marketing, supply chain and finance.

The successful candidate must have experience of taking P&L account responsibility and have a background working within food & drink at national account level. You will be required to work autonomously, often project managing multiple tasks at any one time. You will be highly analytical, numerate and will possess the ability to work to tight and often demanding deadlines.  This role will suit a highly motivated sales manager - ideally with exposure to the key wholesale/Cash & Carry channels and who is looking to boost their existing skills and experience with high value account management.
